Gauthier’s academic path reflects a deep interest in both corporate law and the economic dynamics of companies. He studied law at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles and UCLouvain, with an exchange at Uppsala University in Sweden. He later completed a degree in General Management at Vlerick Business School in Ghent, adding a strong strategic and financial layer to his legal foundation.
During his studies, Gauthier gained hands-on experience in law firms and Belgian companies, sharpening his understanding of how legal frameworks operate in real business contexts. He then spent over six years as an M&A lawyer at Laga (Deloitte Legal) and ALTIUS, where he focused on private equity transactions, corporate structuring, and deal execution.
Gauthier joined dups in May 2024 to support entrepreneurs through fundraising, acquisitions, and exits. He brings a pragmatic mindset and a sharp legal eye to every deal, helping entrepreneurs secure fair terms and navigate complex negotiations with confidence.
