Johan studied law and business economics in parallel at ULB, building a strong foundation in both legal and financial disciplines. He began his career as a lawyer at Stibbe, where he specialised in M&A, corporate law, venture capital, and private equity. His work focused on advising entrepreneurs, investors, and companies through complex transactions and governance challenges.
At dups, Johan supports entrepreneurs with legal structuring, shareholder agreements, and deal execution. His dual background allows him to translate legal complexity into strategic clarity, helping entrepreneurs make confident decisions during fundraising, acquisitions, and exits.
Johan is especially passionate about empowering innovative entrepreneurs with the legal tools they need to succeed. He’s pragmatic, responsive, and always focused on protecting long-term value.
