Lola Vereslt

Legal Counsel
Modern office corner with a wooden high table, red bar stool, small vase, and gray ottoman on green carpet.

Lola's career reflects a natural alignment between legal precision and the entrepreneurial energy she has been close to since her student years. She studied law at Université catholique de Louvain, then completed an LL.M in International Business Law at Ghent University. Her interest in the startup world started early: during her studies, she was already advising founders through LLN Juris Club, a student association providing legal support to private individuals and early-stage companies.

Before joining dups, Lola spent nearly six years at CMS Belgium within the Corporate team, where she focused mainly on small and mid-cap M&A transactions. Through this experience, she developed a thorough understanding of what a deal actually looks like from term sheet to closing, with the structural, negotiation and execution nuances that come with it.

Lola recently joined dups as Legal Counsel to support founders and shareholders through fundraising and M&A transactions. She combines legal expertise with a clear, hands-on approach, helping clients navigate complex (and sometimes lengthy) processes with confidence and rigour.

Outside of work, Lola is a triathlete: cycling, running and a bit of swimming, all at once. The restless energy and discipline she brings to sport are the same ones she brings to every mandate. Her drive to operate at the intersection of legal rigour and entrepreneurial pace naturally led her to dups.
